Being seen, being accountable. My feature in AI Infused Women in AI

Beatrice Gamba - AI Inused - Women in AI Magazine

I am honored to be included in AI Infused Women in AI Magazine, a space that brings together women who are actively shaping how artificial intelligence is imagined, built, and applied today.

The feature appears in the AI Infused Women in AI edition, available here:

Over the years, my work as Head of Innovation has been driven by a simple but demanding question. How do we make AI useful, understandable, and genuinely supportive of human work, rather than abstract or performative. Being included in this magazine feels meaningful because it values that kind of practical, grounded approach to innovation.

Visibility has a double edge: on one side, it is recognition and on the other, it is responsibility. Being featured as part of a Women in AI initiative reminds me that how we talk about AI matters just as much as what we build. The narratives we choose shape expectations, trust, and ultimately adoption. I care deeply about keeping those narratives honest, especially when working with technologies that are often overhyped or misunderstood.

This inclusion also made me reflect on representation in a more personal way. Seeing women represented in strategic and technical leadership roles helps normalize presence where, for a long time, absence was the default. It sends a quiet but powerful signal about who gets to influence decisions and define standards.

I am grateful to the SWARM editorial team for the opportunity and to the broader community of women who continue to ask better questions about AI, ethics, impact, and long term value. For me, this feature is less about being celebrated and more about staying accountable to the kind of AI work I want to stand behind.
